There are 27 images in all, and each image is identified by typed caption on verso. Locations include: Glen Cove, Pratt Estate, Jericho, Massappequa, and all were probably taken by a surveying company planning to pave roads in Nassau County. Included are fascinating interiors, individual portraits, and even a meal eaten in a horse-drawn buggy .

Note: documented here is also the transformation from horse & wagon to paved roads. Surveyors are shown in a few of these photographs and they are traveling in horse & wagon.
