Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How do I buy a photograph or book from this site?

It's a very easy process. You may buy any item listed--subject to prior sale or "hold" by another client--by calling or emailing the dealer directly. Many have credit card facilities and take checks or money orders drawn on U.S. banks in U.S. currency. A check or money order may delay processing of your order by up to 10 working days to allow time for it to clear. Credit card orders usually are processed within three working days. DO NOT EMAIL ANY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. YOU MAY FILL OUT YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION ON THIS SITE ITSELF, OR YOU MUST CONTACT THE DEALER DIRECTLY TO SEE IF THEY TAKE CREDIT CARDS. Phone the dealer with your information. Your credit card will be billed under the individual dealer's name and not I Photo Central, LLC. Likewise make all checks out to individual dealer's name and not I Photo Central. You may have to pay sales tax, and shipping/insurance charges. All Dealers on this site must offer you at least a five-day review of the item from the time of receipt. If you are not pleased with your item, call the dealer within that period and make proper arrangements to return the item for full credit or check, minus shipping/insurance costs. All photographs must be returned in the same condition as received and insured for their full value.
  1. What do I do if my package arrives damaged?

All items are shipped in the U.S. fully insured. In the event an item is received damaged, please keep the original packaging and contact the dealer as soon as possible to start the claim from the post office or appropriate shipper. Please note that this process often takes up to three months or more. In most instances, a credit or rebate of your payment can't be made until after this process is completed. As the buyer, you are responsible for lost or damaged packages, but our dealers will do everything possible to facilitate compensation from the appropriate shipper or insurance carrier.
  1. I'm not in the United States. Will I be responsible for customs?

Yes, you will be responsible for any customs duties or fees. The dealer will attempt to minimize these within the boundaries of the law, but is not responsible for any customs fees, duties or lost packages due to non-payment of customs fees/duties.
