The Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD) will hold the 33rd edition of the AIPAD Photography Show New York, one of the world's most important annual photography events, April 4-7, 2013, at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City. This is an annual "must" event in the photography collecting world.
More than 80 of the world’s leading fine art photography galleries will present a wide range of museum-quality work including contemporary, modern, and 19th-century photographs, as well as photo-based art, video, and new media. The AIPAD Photography Show New York is the longest running and foremost exhibition of fine art photography.
OPENING GALA, APRIL 3RD
The 33rd edition of the show will commence with an opening night gala on April 3, to benefit inMotion, which provides free legal services to low-income women. InMotion has helped thousands of women in New York City free themselves from abusive relationships, stay in their homes and win the financial support to which they--and their children--are legally entitled. Exhibitors will include galleries from across the U.S. and around the world, including Europe, Asia, and South America. Six galleries will exhibit at AIPAD for the first time: Brancolini Grimaldi, London; Fifty One Fine Art Photography, Antwerp; Klompching Gallery, Brooklyn; M97 Gallery, Shanghai; P.P.O.W., New York; and Sage Paris. AIPAD PANEL DISCUSSIONS
Four panel discussions featuring leading curators, artists, dealers, and collectors will be held on Saturday, April 6. The panels, sponsored by Artnet, will be held at Hunter College in the Hunter West Building, Room HW615. The entrance to the Hunter West Building is located on the corner of East 68th St. and Lexington Ave., just one block from the Park Avenue Armory.
Each AIPAD panel is $10 per person. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are available for purchase at the Park Avenue Armory on April 4, 5, and 6 during Show hours. Tickets will not be sold on-site at Hunter College.

Color Rush: 75 Years of Color Photography in America
A talk with the curators Katherine Bussard, Princeton University Art Museum, and Lisa Hostetler,
Smithsonian American Art Museum, about the current exhibition at the Milwaukee Art Museum, which surveys color photography from 1907 through 1981. Artists Barbara Kasten and John Pfahl, whose work is included in the exhibition, will also participate. They will be joined by Andy Grundberg, Associate Provost, Dean of Undergraduate Studies, Corcoran College of Art and Design, Washington, DC. This panel was organized in association with Aperture Foundation on the occasion of the publication of "Color Rush: American Color Photography from Stieglitz to Sherman".
