This image was the front cover of the Family of Man book and "theme photo" for this important exhibition of 1956. Harris was assistant to Werner Bischof when he and Bischof were killed when their truck went over a cliff in the Andes. The image was also published in Popular Photography in the early 1950s. The image is actually extremely rare because Harris died with Werner Bischof in an accident in Peru even before the Family of Man exhibit opened. There has only been a handful of other prints of this image printed by the photographer offered for public or private sale. The images in the Family of Man exhibits were largely destroyed, according to Peter Brunel, who was associate curator at MOMA at the time. Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania buyers must pay appropriate local sales tax. International clients are responsible for their VAT and other custom's oriented charges.
