Legendary choreographer Pina Bausch's Die Keuschheitslegende—or “Legend of Chastity”—premiered on December 13, 1979 at Germany's Opernhaus Wuppertal. It was performed by Tanztheater Wuppertal, with set and costume design by Rolf Borzik. The crocodiles were made by Herbert Rettich.

In the collection of the Harn Museum of Art.
