An important large and early Italian album from around the end of the 1860s. In geometric leather binding in good condition. Some photos have minor spotting that could be conserved. Most are in fine condition with good tonality. Most of the Roman photography appears to have been taken by Altobelli and Moulins. Some of the other images, including those of Pompeii and Napoli, are probably by Giorgio Sommers. Interesting genre photographs around familiar sites, but with variants that are not often seen.
