About This Image

This is an extremely odd untrimmed and unmounted albumen print. Apparently Le Secq may have given or sold his 1851 paper negative. Besides the original Le Secq handwritten signature and date reversed out of the negative, there is an additional typeset negative number (7668) and title reversed out of the negative in French, along with a logo mark associated with Mederic Mieusement. And then to add further confusion, there is a small handwritten negative number (7163) written in ink at the bottom edge.

Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania buyers must pay appropriate local sales tax. International clients are responsible for their VAT and other custom's oriented charges.
