Stamped on verso "August 1939" and with the the photographer's stamp and "Brown Brothers" address stamp.Born in 1891 in New York City, Isador Sy Seidman, photographer and collector of old photographs, died in Brooklyn on January 22, 1977 at the age of 85.In 1921, he won the annual award of the New York Press Photographers Association for a distorted photo of the Statue of Liberty entitled ‘Liberty Enraged by Prohibition'.
