About This Image

These two images are extremely important images dealing with class and sociology. The photographer took 60 photographs of passengers in each class of metro service. The images have been reproduced in a number of important photo histories and books, including Portraits d'Une Capitale, p.78. The last in an edition of three; the other two are sold (one in the National Museum of Warsaw collection and one in a photographer's private collection). Signed, titled and dated in ink on recto of print. The price is for the pair. The actual full size of the canvas is 620 x 790 mm.

Most U.S. domestic Fed Ex ground shipping (Media Mail for books) is free of charge except for larger and heavier items, or unless the buyer wants express shipping (email us your requests for the latter). International shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania buyers must pay appropriate local sales tax. International clients are responsible for their local customs duties and taxes, which will be charged by Fed Ex, which will contact the client prior to delivery.
