With a label marked 'No.6' at top left recto of mount. Signed in ink "Mayer Frs" on recto of print, with the name of the photographers' also at the top recto of the mount in ink and blind-stamped at the bottom. Titled "Marie Cabel, apres nature" on the mount. Cabel was a noted actress of the day and this particular image was mentioned in the 1854 "La Lumiere", pp.178-179. A beautiful print.
