In this wonderful portrait the Czarevitch wears a sailor suit. He was born a hemophiliac and was ill throughout his childhood. He was killed, along with his entire family, by the Bolsheviks in 1918. This photograph is printed on old paper, and it could well be a vintage print, but I have no way of being sure. It was certainly not made any later than the 1940s or '50s, but it could have been much earlier.
