Bruno Tartarin has opened a new gallery in Paris called Photo Discovery, The Place. Located at 4 Galerie Vivienne, in a neighborhood at the heart of photography in Paris since the 1840s, The Place will offer collectors and amateurs alike a vast collection of photographs from the 19th and 20th centuries.
It is a space in the Galerie Vivienne that has housed several photography shops in the past, including galleries run by Serge Plantureux and also Christophe Lunn.
It is open from Tuesday-Saturday, from noon to 7 pm.
A selection of original photographs will be regularly accompanied by thematic, historical or monographic exhibitions, according to Tartarin, who also runs the photo fair of the same name, Photo Discovery, which is held on the Saturday of Paris Photo week, and publishes Classic Photography magazine.
