An interdisciplinary and international team of distinguished photograph historians, scientists and conservators will be presenting groundbreaking information about historic and contemporary platinum and palladium photography in Washington, D.C. at the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian October 22-23, 2014. You can access the full program here: http://www.conservation-us.org/platinum.
In addition to the Symposium there are one-day behind-the-scenes tours of the National Gallery of Art, Library of Congress, and the National Museum of American History.
