Artcurial Relaunches Photo Department

After a considerable absence of several years, Artcurial Paris has relaunched its Photography Department. For this occasion, Artcurial will draw on the expertise of two key figures in the market: Christophe Lunn and Arnaud Adida.

Christophe Lunn is the son of Harry H. Lunn Jr., the renowned US photographic art dealer, who played a major part in creating the market for photographic prints and in building some of the largest private and public collections of fine art photographs. Christophe is a member of the Syndicat des professionnels de la photographie ancienne. He is also the founder of the Photo Vivienne gallery, specializing in both classic and contemporary photographs. In addition, he contributes to l’Œil de la Photographie. He can be reached at: christophe.lunn@gmail.com. His mobile is: +33 (0)6 22 50 23 50.

Arnaud Adida began his career in Paris before going to the United States for six years to work for photographic press agencies. He then returned to Paris to run Corbis-Outline, the portrait department of the agency Corbis. At the same time, Arnaud Adida set up his first gallery, Acte2, leaving it in 2008 to create a new space dedicated to contemporary photography: A.Galerie. During his career, he has worked with renowned photographers such as Mark Seliger and Peter Lindbergh.

There will be two auctions each year. The first one is to take place on May 20, 2014. The auction house can be contacted at: +33 (0) 1 42 99 20 20.
